What is PCI DSS?

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) is an industry standard developed in order to ensure the security of card data. We are a PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant service provider.

Who stores the card data?

Our Hosted Solutions (Lightbox and Hosted Payment Page) will reduce PCI scope as you are not required to handle sensitive cardholder data in your environment. We ensure that the storage of card data is in line with PCI compliance requirements.

What is CVV?

CVV (Card Verification Value) is the security number printed on the back of a bank card. This security number is used to verify Online Purchases.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is a mandated method of authentication, which protects cardholders against unauthorised use of their cards when shopping online.

What is SSL and when do I need to have it on my website?

SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a protocol that ensures the security of transferred data. It is a requirement when accepting online payments using our API. This will ensure that sensitive data provided by your consumers are not compromised. These certificates may be purchased or generated.
